TWC™ Extreme Rod Features
Designed and tested by catfishermen, for catfishermen
Exceptional Rod Construction
Your rod should never slip while you are fighting a catfish. That is why the butt of the TWC™ Extreme rod was designed to have excellent grip. The handle is made of grade “A” cork and tends to be much stronger and last much longer than a typical cork handle. The foregrip of the rod is also made of grade “A” cork and is 6” long to provide plenty of hand room for leverage. With Tangling with Catfish™ rods, you will get a better grip and a better fight.
Each of the TWC™ Extreme Rods are made from strong, E-glass blank. This E-glass material provides a great bend and flex for anlgers during a fight.
Aluminum Reel Seats
The reel seats on the TWC™ Extreme catfish rods are what truly sets this series apart. All of our reel seats are made of heavy duty machined aluminum and are ribbed on the inside for a stronger bond. Each has two aluminum locking nuts with a rubber washer in between to ensure the tightness of the reel, and provides a first-class, heavy-duty aluminum hood.
Cross-Cut EVA Foam Grip (for Form Poles)
The handle and foregrip on the TWC™ Monster Rod Series encourage an excellent grip because they are both made from extremely durable, cross-cut EVA foam. These dense, hearty foam grips are remarkably comfortable and ensure a great grip against any fish. Furthermore, the 6” length of the foregrip of the Monster Rod provides plenty of hand room for leverage against monster catfish and other giant channel cats.
Rubber Butt (for Form Poles)
The end of the TWC™ Monster Rod features a rubber butt that allows for the best grab on the rod so it doesn’t slip when you are fighting a fish.
Stainless Steel Guides & Hook Keeper
All Tangling with Catfish™ rods come with a stainless steel hook keeper so you don’t need to place the hook on a guide. This will ensure the rods last much longer. Furthermore, the guides on every TWC™ Extreme catfish rod are double footed and made of stainless steel. Each of the 8 guides is wrapped with thick black wrap and a double epoxy coating for longer-lasting reliability.
The end of each of our black and blue TWC™ Extreme catfish rods is tipped with white so that it can be seen more easily at night. This allows you to continue your fight even after dusk fades.
